 #Definite Article THE :-

➡ Among the three articles THE is said to be the definite article. 

➡ A definite article is used to determine something that is specific or particular. 

➡ The very basic rule of article says that the article THE is used before singular or plural when the noun is specific it indicates a particular things or persons in the sentences. 

■ Example :-

- The teacher she spoke in the exhibition was very rude. 

■ Rule-1 :-

ー Article THE is used when the listener knows what the speaker is copying about as well as it is used in to generalize the whole class and group. 

• Example :-

- The mangoes you kept in the refrigerator last night do not taste good.

- The beggar are not always the needy. 

■ Rule-2 :-

ー Article THE is used for geographical points on the globe and also used for the noun that cannot be counted. 

• Example :-

- The north pole and the south pole can never meet. 

- The water of the pacific ocean is freezing. 

■ Rule-3 :-

ー Article THE is used before the name of rivers, mountains, oceans, famous building, eternal objects, etc and also used before the name of direction and also before the name of newspaper. 

• Example :-

- The Ganga, The pacific ocean, The Burjkhaleefa, The moon.

- The west, The Times of India. 

■ Rule-4 :-

ー THE is mandatorily used for things that are only of a kind in the universe and The does not mean all. 

• Example :- 

- The space, The galaxy 

- The books are my favorites [ Not the all books just the book talk about ].

#Indefinite article A and AN 

ー Article A and AN are called Indefinite article which is used to refer to a person or a thing that is not identified or specified.

■ Rule-1 :-

ー The article A is used before a consonant word or any vowel with a consonant sound as well as it is used before the singular noun that is begin with a consonant. 

● Example :-

(1) A one rupee note and a Europe. 

(2) A bench, A Cupboard, etc. 

#Indefinite article AN :-

■ Rule-1 :-

ー Singular noun beginning with a vowel at that time before the noun Article An is used as well as singular noun starting with consonant but it pronunciation starts with vowel.

(1) An umbrella, An Hour
